Champing at the Bit

I read in a forum recently that anyone who tells you they love winter has obviously never owned a horse. Our horses are itching to get out of the barn and spend their days grazing in the sunshine; there's no doubt they're as stir crazy as we are.

We’re eagerly awaiting the longer, warmer days because it'll mean more time at the barn. By the beginning of May, we’ll finally be ready to share this amazing place with you. We've spent the winter cleaning, replacing stall mats, and strategizing about Dutch-door crossbuck replacement. Once spring arrives we can jump into power-washing stalls, refinishing the beautiful hardwood, and managing the paddocks. It's been awhile since there were horses in here, so the barn has needed some TLC and a lot of elbow grease, but it's just about there. We can't wait to grow our herd and our riding community.

Our ultimate goal is for the barn to be a fun, safe place to deepen your bond with your equine partner and work on improving your test scores—or even just work on getting the confidence to canter a 20 meter circle. Dressage is a long journey, and we think a supportive community can make all the difference. There will be good rides and bad rides, but we want your time at the barn to be fulfilling and rewarding no matter what. If that sounds like something you want to be a part of, we hope you'll drop us a line and consider making Red Tail Equestrian your new barn home.

See you at the barn,

Jenni
